Begin the Journey
Three steps from your first hunt to recognition of a lifetime pursuit of excellence.
01
The AWARDS
The Malek Medal is the entry point into the Malek Awards. It certifies the fair-chase pursuit of a single eligible species in Australia or New Zealand — the first formal mark of recognition in a hunter’s journey.
Fee: No Application Fee
Successful applications: US$100 per medal, plus shipping and handling

The Australian and New Zealand Game Trophies recognize hunters who have taken seven of the ten eligible species listed for the respective country.
At least 4 must be taken free-range.
Application Fee: US$400
Successful applications: Trophy fee invoiced separately

The J. J and D. P. South Pacific Grand Slam Award recognizes completion of the required species across Australia and New Zealand, while the Malek Golden Award honours the same pursuit at a higher standard, subject to the Association’s eligibility and scoring requirements.
Application Fee: US$400
Successful applications: Award fee invoiced separately
